Lou Reed- The Raven

The Raven is a concept album by Lou Reed released in 2003. Its goal is to recount the short stories and poems of Edgar Allan Poe through word and song. Both "The Bed" and "Perfect Day" are new and very different versions of well-known Reed songs from previous albums, and the song "Fire Music" is white noise. In addition to Reed it features a number of guest vocalists including Laurie Anderson, David Bowie, Antony Hegarty, Steve Buscemi and Willem Dafoe. The producer, Hal Willner, had previously overseen the Poe tribute album Closed On Account of Rabies.

The recording was simultaneously released as a two-disc set of recordings and in an edited single-disc version.

Album art and photography from New York painter Julian Schnabel.

As Divine Grace - Supremature

As Divine Grace at the beggining back in 1991 was a doom metal band... During later years they had left most metal influences behind them to create dark atmospheric pop. Supremature is melodic and melancholic album, and their classical vocalist Hanna steals the show.

Anastasia - Nocturnal

Anastasia is the name of a music band from the Republic of Macedonia, formed in 1990.

Their music is a blend combining Byzantine past, through Eastern Orthodox Church music with a rich gamut of ethnic rhythms. They play acoustic instruments typical for the area where they come from and dwell, such as: kaval (flute), gajda (bagpipes), tapan (drum), and also use modern technology - computers, samplers, synthesizers, etc.

Anastasia have made hardly know music scores for films, theater performances, disney shows, and TV programs. Their soundtrack for the movie Before the Rain bearing Polygram label has been sold in thousands of copies worldwide.

Nocturnal is their last album.

Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here (Trance Remixes)

I was wondering what would be the best album to start sharing, when Winamp jupmed on a New Age Version of Pink Floyd' s Welcome To The Machine... The track list is the same as on the original album, exept this tribute/remix is a little bit longer than the original... One of my favorite sleeping pills :D
